Dreaming a Little Bigger: Elegant & Modern Boho Styled Shoot | Kasota Prairie Wildlife Area | Southern MN Wedding Photographer
High fives and hugs, little stories that make you feel connected to each other, looks that spurn laughter, midnight chats that dare you to dream a little harder, reach a little further.
You would think I was talking about a lover. Some one who I pledged my life to, but I am not. What I am talking about is collaborating with fellow entrepreneurs to make a vision come to life. And it all started with jumping in feet first and asking another fellow boss lady to meet up for coffee over a year ago. That wonderful lady introduced me to another two other wonderful ladies.
The one constant in our relationships is that we were all hell bent on making our businesses shine and thrive and no just serving the brides and grooms of southern and central Minnesota, but reshaping it through doing what we did well and working with other vendors to elevate each other's value.
That and we all have pretty killer senses of humor.
Through building our relationships an idea formed of bringing all of our talents together in a dream styled shoot that would showcase stunning details that would allow area brides to dream their own weddings into reality.
Our laughter, sweat and tears all came together in a epic sunset styled shoot at Kasota Prairie Wildlife Area just north of Mankato, MN. It features a elegant lace Stella York wedding gown provided by Inspire Bridal Boutique and formal wear from J.Longs. Pamela Hernandez Beauty provided touches of boho with hair and make-up. Custom wedding jewelry made of fossilized mammoth ivory and dinosaur bone was provided by echo friendly designer L. Shoff Meaningful Moments Event Planning & Coordination provided event coordination and decor with a lace draped hand crafted farmhouse table with touches of amber glass details and in warm gold and browns that were accented by fresh blooms that featured dahlias, garden roses, rancunculus and berries from Budding Creations. Ginger P. Designs provided navy and cream paper goods with gold accents. The delicate hand sculpted features and ruffles of the cake designed by Bluebird Cakery gave the shoot wonderful touches of wanderlust. Videography was provided by ELANEM.
With this line up of vendors, I had the honor to capture it all. Sunset was long gone as we packed up, but we all were on a euphoric high. We had accomplished something not only wonderful, but beyond stunning. Still to this day, I feel that euphoria. And for the days to come I hope you feel this as the key players in making this styled shoot happen share their thoughts on how to make your wedding day the best day ever.
